Farmers Markets Fun in August
August 6th
We are so
happy to have found someone to bring a canning
workshop to our nursery. Becks Panty from Minden, owned by Becky
will be here to present these hands on workshop; you will be leaving with a
bottle of something canned. Cost is $25.00, so make a reservation today. All
supplies will be provided.
August 13th
Home gardeners flower contest. Now that your hard work
has been rewarded with flowers make a bouquet and bring them into to nursery
starting August 10th. You will be judged for flower quality, design of the
bouquet and overall appearance.
August 20th
Home gardeners photo contest at the Garden Shop
Nursery. Bring in a photo of your yard, garden or flower and we display them
asking our customers to be the judges for this contest. Winners will be
announced August 27th and we will award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
August 27
We will announce the winners of our photo contest
tonight. We will award the top 3 with gift certificates for the Garden Shop
Nursery. Thanks to all who entered our first photo contest.
Bonsai workshops scheduled for August 14th.
Pat Flynn or Bonsai expert has planned workshops
for all Bonsai gardeners. The workshop will start at 1:00pm and are FREE.
Find the facebook link on our home page, become a fan and
you are automatically entered into a drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate.
Drawings will be held the first of the month, all Facebook fans are eligible
to win a certificate.
